Education for street children.

According to the Indian constitution in Article 21-A the right to education department is to provide free and compulsory education of all children from 6-14 years. However we do not see this fundamental right being provided equally. As lack of education is the prime cause of increase in poverty, unemployment, unskilled labor etc. Nevertheless Rahat and care foundation aims to provide equal educational rights to all the underprivileged children in goregaon and rural areas of Bangalore. In previous times we have conducted workshops for children who are ragpickers, migrant workers, domestic workers teaching them the basic English language as well as helped a few who aspire to become educated. EVERY CHILD DESERVES THE RIGHT TO EDUCATION.
